![]() It's my earnest hope that People Can Fly made the effort to either implement customisation for such options in the options menu, if not unlocked the Config files for easier user configuration in the Full Clip Edition, but safe to say users concerned about such options (Although Bulletstorm does play at a usually comfortable 80° horizontal, the fast movement & action may have users desiring a 90-110° much like myself, not to mention many prefer their mouse input served raw rather than smoothed nor accelerated), it's probably worth waiting for post-launch feedback & user reports to ensure if these have been accomodated for (At least long enough to secure a refund if you really feel the need to secure the Duke Nukem's Bulletstorm Tour free-by-preorder). the floor tiles, ceiling and characters in The Secret Shop are simply WOWĬannot wait for their full game for VR, could not care less if HL EP3 or not, more quality along the lines of “The Lab” would have me reaching for my wallet.Concerns for Denuvo DRM and Gearbox Publishing's input aside, I am very keen to learn if certain user features such as FOV, Frame-rate uncapping, and various other options were implemented this time around for this version, to ensure the promise of "The ultimate Bulletstorm experience" is delivered by People Can Fly.įor the original release (Which was made available on disc should it become a necessary desire for some), it lacked such options as FOV adjustment and frame-rate adjustment in the in-game menus and it was one of the rarer Unreal 3 Engine console ports to come to PC with protected config files that make them easy edits for games such as Mass Effect & Mirror's Edge, but a tool called "BulletstormINIEditor" was able to get around that and access such options as editing the smoothed 22-62fps cap to any cap of preference if not uncapped completely, editing FOV, viewmodel FOV & even ADS FOV and disabling mouse-smoothing among other adjustments that esnured even the original release maintained longevity & user flexibility. There have been some recent tech updates to Steam VR? The Lab has new loading screens, its taking longer to load and unless I’m mistaken, some work has been down upgrading the rendering engine as I have never seen such good graphics in VR (GTX1070), its does start to make other titles primitive in comparison. Really enjoy Longbow, Slingshot, Postcards (the 2 valve demo rooms mentioned in this article), drone flights in the lab, messing around with bow/arrow, exploring the bounds, messing with the robo-pooch. I’ve really gotten back into playing long sessions in Xortex, which surprised me with its excellent gameplay, immersion and prescence, I had written it off initially after not getting hooked. The pocket universe experiences are brilliant. I’m going to move my Vive to my office where I have a 1800 square foot empty room plenty of space to setup the 25m tracking cable and really experiment!
